Small Things. Big Smiles.Small Steps visits CHANCE Children's Home on Sunday, 5 December 2010. We even roped in Father Christmas from the North Pole to endure some African sunshine...and most of all to give these precious souls some love... 
On Saturday the 20th of November, we took the beautiful children at East Rand Children's Haven their Christmas gifts [sponsored by Anglo American], had a party and played some games with them. Very special day with lots of smiles... 
On Saturday the 18th of September we went and visited C.H.A.N.C.E children's home, below are some photos of the beautiful little spirits that live there. |

These are the two youngest little ones at C.H.A.N.C.E!!! They have been left with absolutely nothing and desperately need our help!!  The little girls aged between 7 and 12 years of age. They were very excited when we introduced them to an old favourite, Hop Scotch!! See the next photo for this.  These boys range from the ages of 11 to 15 years old. They all love soccer; art and Hip-Hop music!! As you can tell they also loved the photo opportunity!!  It's amazing how these children can still smile when they have experienced such trauma!! True little gifts.  |
These little ones are aged between 2 and 5 years old. They are so adorable and crave any attention they can get. They especially enjoyed a few favourite songs such as "The Wheels on the Bus" and "Incey Wincey Spider".  The girls enjoying a little bit of fun in the sun. Really amazing to see how such a simple game can create such joy for these kiddies.  Some of the girls aged between 11 and 15 years old. Mapule Rooi (Second Right) has grown up in C.H.A.N.C.E, along with her brother's Grant and Gary Rooi seen in the photo on the left (twins in the middle).
